Planning on renting out your slip to another owner, guest or renter whom is occupying a strata lot overnight?  The below form must be completed in full and submitted prior to any vessel being moored in The Strand Lakeside Marina. Failure to do so will result in fines and towing of vessel from the marina at the cost to the Exclusive Use Owner.

Moorage Tie Up Requirements

Tie-Up Requirements:

  • To avoid violation fines and or towing from the marina ensure that your vessel is properly tied up with snubbers and/or spring lines as per illustration below.

Required Type of Lines:

  • Power Braided Nylon Lines

Required Size of Lines:

  • Boats up to 20 feet = Min. 3/8" diameter line

  • Boats 20 to 26 feet = Min. 1/2" diameter line

Required Fender Sizes:

  • Appropriate sized fenders and/or 'Dock Buddy' shall be used to prevent damages to the marina.

Mooring Snubbers:

  • Snubbers are required to absorb line tension that is caused by wind, waves, and the constant movement and tugging on lines. Snubber lines help prevent lines from breaking.
